We had quite a large response to our initial notice, so we have tried offer times and dates to accommodate all those that responded. All classes will need a minimum of 25 total participants to take place, so PLEASE spread the word so that we can have sessions for all of those that expressed interest.

MIAMI
The Miami classes will take place in Miami on Friday, October 10th from 6-10pm. (Location is still being finalized but it should be somewhere in the Coral Gables area) and Saturday, October 11th from 10am-2pm in The Clark Recital Hall in the music complex on The University of Miami campus. (chose one session).
Should there be enough desire for a session in Miami on Thursday, October 9th, please email us saying so with a day or evening preference to the email address below. PLEASE RESPOND ASAP IF THIS IS OF INTEREST!
ORLANDO
The Orlando classes will take place Sunday, October 12 from 2-6pm, Monday, October 13th from 11.30-3.30 and Tuesday, October 14th from 11.30-3.30 (pick one session)
All Orlando sessions will take place at Columbus Dance Center 4625 Middlebrook Road.

These four-hour intensive sessions will include:
*Lecture/ Q and A regarding working in the today’s musical theatre industry.
* “Nuts and bolts” lecture/ Q and A on audition preparation. This workshop will focus on all aspects of auditioning including: song choice, music preparation, trends in pictures and resumes and overall presentation of audition.
*Mock auditions and feedback for auditioning participants, which will include feedback and comments on audition preparation, song choice, interpretation and picture/resume assessment. Non-auditioning participants will observe and participate in this session.
*Pop/rock workshop focusing on vocal styles that lie outside the traditional musical theatre sound. This workshop will feature listening examples and discussion of representative artists participants should focus on for applying these styles to musical theatre singing.
All participants will observe and take active part in ALL sessions.
Fee for auditioning participants: $95
Acceptance is on a first come first serve basis. There will be a VERY limited number of auditioning participants.
Fee for non-auditioning participants: $75

BIO FOR DAVE CLEMMONS
Dave Clemmons is the founder/owner of Dave Clemmons Casting which has cast Broadway shows including Ring of Fire, In My Life, The Boy From Oz, Dracula, The Civil War, Brooklyn, Cinderella starring Eartha Kitt and Jamie Lynn Sigler; Off-Broadway shows including Bare, Bat Boy, Altar Boyz, The Ark, Bingo, Cpt. Louie, Zanna Don't!, the 2000 revival of Godspell and the National Tours of Cinderella, Evita, Millie, Cats, Fosse, Jekyll & Hyde, Chicago, Joseph and Saturday Night Fever, and Moving Out.
He began his career as a performer in Broadway roles in Les Miserables (Valjean), The Civil War, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Jekyll and Hyde and Whistle Down the Wind.
As a music/vocal director or supervisor Dave has worked on the National Tours of Jekyll and Hyde and The Civil War.
He served as Producer for the critically acclaimed New York production of Bat Boy and an Intimate Evening with Frank Wildhorn and friends starring Frank Wildhorn. Linda Eder and Douglas Sills.
He has conducted the Broadway Gospel Choir and the Dave Clemmons Choir on The Today Show, the Bravo Network, Carnegie Hall and the Gershwin Theatre on Broadway.
Each year, Dave lectures and teaches at the nation's top music theatre training programs including Broadway Theatre Project.
